The Orígens UNESCO Global Geopark has a territorial scope within 4 counties.
For this reason, at the educational level, activities and didactic proposals are coordinated with the different educational institutions in this territory.
Pedagogical Resource Centers
Every year the Centre de Recursos Pedagògics del Pallars Jussà publishes the Regional Education Plan where you can find all the didactic offer of the region, including the activities offered by the CdA Tremp, different museums and centres, and those offered directly by the Geopark.
Learning camps in the Geopark
The learning camps (CdA) offer innovative educational activities that can last more than one day or one day. They are integrated into the network of Camps d’Aprenentatge del Departament d’Educació de la Generalitat de Catalunya.
Tremp Learning Camp (CdA Tremp)
Educational service to support teaching that offers activities related to geology and paleontology, history and hydroelectricity. The Tremp Town Council, the Institut Cartogràfic i Geològic de Catalunya, the Consell Comarcal del Pallars Jussà and the Servei Educatiu dels Pallars are also involved in the management and operation of this Camp, which provide different resources and support.
Noguera Learning Camp (CdA Noguera)
This educational service, which has its headquarters in Sant Llorenç de Montgai, offers the possibility of stays of 2 to 5 days or one-day trips to the students of preschool, primary and secondary education centers in Catalonia in the facilities located in Sant Llorenç and other areas of the Noguera region. It works in the fields of archeology and prehistory, civil war, and landscape and the natural environment.
