Murals
Currently, there are different locations in the Geoparc that are promoting large-format art in their streets. This art helps to make known and value the natural and cultural heritage of the Geopark based on the muralist pictorial creation. We encourage you to visit them!
Isona i Conca Dellà (2021-2022)
Isona and Conca Dellà City Council has launched a mural art project in which artists linked to the municipality and also to the region of Pallars Jussà have collaborated. The promotion of their works is an added value and, at the same time, support for local artistic creation.
In the guide , promoted by the Geoparc, you can find information on the different artists, as well as a description of each of the murals. Each creation consists of an explanation made by the artist himself, describing the technique used, what inspired the author and which heritage elements can be observed.
Salàs de Pallars (2022)
El Tracte: mural painted by the English artist, resident at Pallars Jussà, Peter Alan Hull, which explains the phases in which the sale and purchase contract of hoofed animals took place at the Fira de Salàs.
It also illustrates the Day of Remembrance of the Fira and the conversion of some “eras” (round paved patios to do the threshing) into gastronomic and cultural spaces.
Talarn (2020)

The proposal for this mural was a popular initiative. The Orígens Geopark participated in its funding.
