Geolodía

Geolodía (Geoloday) is a specific day when we want to approach Geology and the profession of geologist to society.

It started in 2005 in the province of Terol (Spain) and, since 2011, it has become a national event celebrated in all the Spanish provinces simultaneously. It consists on a guided field trip by geologists and it is open to all kind of publics.

This activity is an initiative supported by la Sociedad Geológica de España (SGE), la Asociación Española para la Enseñanza de las Ciencias de la Tierra (AEPECT) and el Instituto Geológico y Minero de España (IGME).

With the Geolodía you could appreciate the geodiversity of our territory with the eyes of a geologist.
