In the heart of the Conca de Tremp (Pallars Jussà) atop a small hill we find the ruins of the ancient village of Puigcercós, to the west of the current village.
On this route, you’ll learn how a huge landslide sent half the old village tumbling down the hill. A geologist will explain how this geological process occurred. They’ll also share a heartwarming story of solidarity that helped the residents of Puigcercós to rebuild and repair after this natural disaster – which is more common than we’d like to think. The tour is 3 km long and suitable for people 5 years and up.
