Akarona is a small artisan workshop in the Lleida Pyrenees. In the workshop, textile pieces and dyes are made using plants.
Ecoprint, a technique of stamping with leaves and flowers, is one of the methods they use. With this technique, they print scarves, bags, and fabrics using the leaves and flowers from the flora of the Geopark Orígens.
Using a shuttle loom and knitting machine, they create everything they imagine, inspired by nature and the seasons. Small projects making their way into the textile world are provided with raw materials: wool and threads with a nearby and sustainable history.
