Akarona is a small artisan workshop in the Pyrenees of Lleida. The workshop creates textile pieces and dyes them using plants.
Ecoprinting, a technique that involves printing with leaves and flowers, is one of the methods they use. With this technique, they print scarves, bags, and clothing using leaves and flowers from the flora of the Geoparc Orígens.
Using a low-warp loom and a knitting machine, they bring their ideas to life, inspired by nature and the seasons. Small projects carving out their path in the textile world provide their raw materials: wool and threads with a local and sustainable story.
