Carles Monegal is a master lithographer, the last in the Geopark area still working with this technique, in one of the few workshops in Spain equipped with a calcographic press and lithographic stone press.
They offer the possibility to edit lithographs, engravings, photographs, and serigraphs in their workshop, and produce various lithograph editions by different artists each year.
Lithography is a technique directly linked to the Geopark Orígens, as the Meià Quarry, exploited in 1898 for extracting lithographic limestones, is located in the territory.
These works, along with other contemporary pieces from established and emerging artists, are temporarily exhibited at the Quiosc Gallery, located in Tremp.
