Sauvella is a winery that cultivates indigenous grape varieties that thrive in the extreme mountain climate and on a soil of marl and reddish sandstone. They produce white, rosé, and red wines, both young and oak-aged, natural wines of high quality and character.
They have a store in Orcau, in a medieval cellar where they welcome small groups for tastings and tours, which can be arranged by appointment.
Additionally, they offer the “From Rock to Glass” activity in collaboration with Eureka SGN, where visitors can view dinosaur footprints near the vineyard, learn about the geological formation of the land, and taste some of their wines.
