The route

The landscape shapes create an ideal habitat for Mediterranean flora, and birds of prey such as the majestic bearded vulture can be observed. This environment conceals secrets and mysteries, with legendary places like the Serpent Cave, the Barranc de l’Infern, the Sleeping Giant, and the remains of the troglodytic monastery of Sant Pere de les Maleses.

What not to miss along the route

  1. Serpent’s cave: The legend says that a huge serpent used to hide in this cave… Who dares to enter it?
  2. Barranc de l’infern (Hell’s Canyon): Ideal for geologists and adventure sports enthusiasts, this place is filled with nature, myths, and legends.
  3. The Sleeping Giant: An emblematic mountain (1,181m) shaped by the whims of geology and time. When viewed from the northeast, it resembles a reclining woman.
