Eduard Marín is a leather artisan at his workshop, Artetu, in Peramea.
There, following ancestral methods, he tans hides and polishes them with stones like granite or tuff. This process gives his products added value, especially because each piece is backed by significant ethnographic research.
Some of Eduard’s handcrafted creations include bracelets, keychains, and agendas for the Geoparc Orígens, which combine leather with wool from Xisqueta sheep.
In addition, he is engaged in an ethnological research project on livestock farming in the Pyrenees and recreates items from the traditional shepherd’s craft.
